Pampas Grass Wedding in Winter Park, CO

Kahla and Lucas tied the knot at one of the best kept secrets as far as ceremony sites go in Colorado. I am excited every time I get the chance to design in this beautiful place! Kahla loved texture and wanted a neutral palette so we looked to the location and the Fall season for inspiration. It was so much fun to translate the warm, outdoor details of this wedding site into earthy and textural floral arrangements.

For Kahla 's bouquet we kept things natural and organic. The soft texture of her pampas grass bouquet complemented her classic lace gown perfectly. She looked gorgeous and her dress was a show stopper with that traditional lace train!

Their ceremony was held outdoors nestled in this very private wooded area in Winter Park, CO. This is one of my favorite settings with the view of the mountains everywhere you look. We designed a flowing hedge of pampas grass, small textural blooms, and white + peach flowers. The pampas grass reflected the warm sunlight pouring through the trees. Small blooms such as lisianthus and carnations gave the design those little bits of texture and detail.

For the bridesmaids bouquets, we incorporated similar blooms and greenery but small scaled for consistency. The boutonnieres where just as natural and organic with grasses and a scabiosa pod.

Rachel L'Antigua was behind the camera and WoodStem Floral and Decor provided all the flowers and design work.
